Responsible for supporting students in the SSD Day Treatment Program by providing quality guidance, assistance, and behavior management strategies.
Associate’s degree or two-year college certificate required
- Bachelor’s degree or teacher license preferred but not required
- Experience working with children with special needs preferred
- First Aid Class/ CPR & AEDCertification Required (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Substitute Authorization Preferred
- Must be highly qualified according to the No Child Left Behind Act (A.A. or A.S. Degree, or 48 semester hours of credit, or passing score on State approved content/knowledge test)
- Effective time management due to time clock
