Provide health services and health education to children to promote the optimal level of wellness for all students. Administer emergency first aid and care. Conduct such health screenings as sight and hearing testing as directed by supervisor per state guidelines. Complete necessary reporting to the Department of Health. Assists in completing appropriate assessments assist in completing appropriate assessment and evaluations for special education staffings, 504 plans and chronically ill children for special education staffing. Maintain positive inter-personal relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Active special service provider certification or license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse License
