This application is intended for individuals who would like to be involved in the Summit High School Athletic/Activity Department in any capacity. If you are interested in coaching a specific sport(s) but do not see a posted position, you can submit your application for future consideration.  Please follow up this application with an email to Bob Bodor, Athletic Director at bob.bodor@summit.k12.org to specify which sport/activity you are interested in coaching.

Under the direction of the athletic director and head coach, and in accordance with District policies, procedures, and CHSAA regulations, the assistant coach shall be responsible for the phases of the program for which they are hired, all responsibilities as assigned by the athletic director, the head coach and his/her players. 

• Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Support the head coach and coaching staff.
  2. Is a positive role model at all times as well as an exemplary representative of the program, Summit High School, and our community.
  3. Supports Athletic Department policies.
  4. Follows all guidelines set by Summit HS Athletic Trainer.
  5. Complies with rules and regulations as established by Summit School District and the Colorado High School Activities Association.

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred
• Previous coaching experience preferred
